NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH ISSUES GRANTS NOTICE ON "NLM INSTITUTIONAL TRAINING GRANTS FOR RESEARCH TRAINING IN BIOMEDICAL INFORMATICS (T-15)" - US Fed News Service, Including US State News

WASHINGTON, Feb. 28 -- National Institutes of Health issues grants notice for the support of predoctoral and postdoctoral training for research careers in biomedical informatics. Applications may be for the creation of entirely new program or for the renewal of existing NLM training program grants. Estimated total program funding is $14,000,000.

The funding opportunity number RFA-LM-11-001 was posted on Feb. 28 with an application closing date of April 28.

Such training will help meet a growing need for investigators trained in biomedical computing and related fields as they directly relate to application domains, including health care delivery, basic biomedical research, clinical and translational research, public health and similar areas.'
